Origins: Voices of Home (2015–2019)
Before Longing is Just Our Word for Knowing, I led Voices of Home, a statewide oral history initiative with the Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition and affordable housing providers. Through interviews, photography, and community storytelling, the project documented how Vermonters experiencing housing instability defined home in their own words. This work continues that investigation through painting, assemblage, and installation, translating years of listening into a visual language of memory, repair, and belonging.
